Quick Tip: Your "Suggested People" list improves the more you use the app. Lukoon learns what you like and suggests users with similar interests.

Ways to Find People

There are three main ways to locate friends and interesting accounts on the platform.

  • Use the Global Search

    At the top of your dashboard, you will see a Search Bar. Type in the name or username (e.g., @Nivan) of the person you are looking for. You can filter results by "People" to narrow it down.

  • Check "Suggested People"

    On the right-hand sidebar of your Home feed, look for the Suggested People widget. This list shows users who are trending or share mutual friends with you. Click "Follow" to instantly connect.

  • Explore the "People" Page

    For a dedicated discovery experience, visit the People directory. Here you can see nearby users and popular accounts across the entire platform.

How to Grow Your Network

Finding people is just the first step. Here is how to build meaningful connections:

  • Complete Your Bio: People are more likely to follow you back if they know who you are.
  • Engage in Comments: Don't just lurk! Comment on posts under trending hashtags like #26thjanuary or #englishspeech.
  • Sync Contacts: If available in settings, sync your phone contacts to find friends who are already on Lukoon.
