Posting on Lukoon: Share Text, Photos and Videos Like a Pro

Sharing your thoughts and life moments is the core of the Lukoon experience. Whether you want to post a quick status update, share a travel gallery, or upload a video, the content creator tool is powerful and versatile. Let's explore how to use it like a pro.

New Feature Alert: You can now attach Music/Audio files directly to your posts! Look for the musical note icon in the creator tool.

How to Create a Post: Step-by-Step

Follow this guide to craft the perfect update using the "Create" modal shown in the screenshot.

  • Open the Creator

    Click the large purple Create button on the left sidebar, or tap "What is on your mind?" at the top of your feed. This opens the posting window.

  • Write Your Message

    Type your caption in the text area. You can use the icons on the right to add #Hashtags (to join trending topics) or @Mentions (to tag friends).

  • Add Media (Photos, Video, Audio)

    Enhance your post using the icons at the bottom:
    📷 Image/Gallery: Upload one or multiple photos.
    🎵 Music: Share a song or audio clip.
    📹 Video: Upload a video file directly.

  • Advanced Options: Scheduling

    Don't want to post right now? Toggle the Schedule Post switch to the ON position. This allows you to pick a future date and time for your content to go live automatically.

  • Publish

    Check your privacy setting (Public, Friends, etc.) near your avatar, then hit the purple Post button to finish.

Understanding the Icons

The interface is packed with tools. Here is a quick legend based on the screenshot:

  • GIF: Search and insert an animated GIF.
  • Feeling/Activity (Smiley Face): Let people know if you are "Feeling Happy" or "Watching a Movie".
  • Globe Icon: This indicates your Privacy setting. Click it to change who can see the post (Public vs Followers).
