How to Delete or Deactivate Your Lukoon Account Safely

We are sorry to see you go! Whether you are taking a temporary digital detox or deciding to leave the platform permanently, Lukoon makes it easy to close your account. However, this is a major action, so it is important to understand the consequences before you click that button.

Warning: This action is permanent. Deleting your account will erase your profile, photos, videos, comments, and likes. This information cannot be recovered once the process is complete.

How to Delete Your Account

If you are sure about your decision, follow these steps to navigate to the deletion page.

  • Open Settings

    Log in to your account on a desktop or mobile browser. Click on your profile picture or the menu icon to access the Settings sidebar.

  • Scroll to the Bottom

    Look at the left-hand menu list. At the very bottom, below "Your Information" and "Points", you will find the Delete Account option.

  • Verify Your Identity

    For security reasons, you will be asked to enter your current password. This prevents unauthorized users (or hackers) from deleting your account without your permission.

  • Confirm Deletion

    Read the final warning prompt carefully. Click the "Delete My Account" button to finalize the process. You will be logged out immediately.

Before You Leave...

Consider these alternatives if you aren't 100% sure about deleting everything:

  • Just need a break? You can simply log out and delete the app from your phone without closing your account. Your data will remain safe until you return.
  • Too many notifications? Go to Settings > Notifications and turn off email and push alerts instead of deleting your profile.
  • Privacy concerns? You can set your profile to "Private" or "Only Me" in the Privacy settings to hide your content from the public.
Download Your Data: Before deleting, we highly recommend saving your photos and important messages manually. Once the account is gone, there is no way to retrieve them.
